...have been best-sellers since they launched in 2006.  You’re a Bad Man, Mr  Gum! the first in the series, instantly shot to fame when it won the Red House Children’s Book Award in the same year.  Since then, the gruesome Mr Gum books have only gone from strenght to strenght winning awards and rave reviews book after book. Additionally, a special World Book Day story, Mr Gum in the Hound of Lamonic Bibber published in March 2009 was the top selling WBD title, selling over 167,000 copies (not included in the 1 million figure). Translation rights for Mr Gum have sold in 29 languages.
