The Daily Telegraph report today (14th Nov 08) on the Roald Dahl Funny Prize awards, included a review by Sam Leith of the winning book in the 7 - 14 category, Mr Gum and the Dancing Bear... ..."entirely delightful...the deliberately bad grammar will infuriate all the right people, and the similes - 'quiet as an avocado'; 'bawling away like a greengrocer' - will make children hoot."
