Mr Gum and the Biscuit Billionaire
"Any author who creates a billionaire gingerbread man called Alan Taylor deserves the Nobel prize for literature" said Charlie Higson (Guardian Review - 5th March) of Andy Stanton, who brought Alan Taylor into the second book in the Mr Gum series, Mr Gum and the Biscuit Billionaire...

...Well known authors were asked to write about 'The Most Valuable Present I've Ever Been Given' on World Book Night. Charlie said, "I would give a child any of Andy Stanton's Mr Gum books - they are wildly funny and inventive and play around with the whole idea of what a book is and how a story is told."
