 The Daily Telegraph (Saturday 14th June) listed Mr Gum and the Power Crystals as one of the books recommended by a report commissioned by Schools Minister, Jim Knight. The School Library Association were asked to find the best books for boys published during the last few years. Mr Knight said that Egmont, who publish Andy Stanton's Mr Gum series, published books that were “excellent for luring boys away from other distractions”. |
