...at 10.00 this morning Katie Fforde, chair of the RNA, was delighted to announce the competitors for this year's prestigious awards. Fingers are crossed for Ruth, whose writing has proven to be 'laugh-out-loud funny'. The winners for each category will be named at the Pure Passion Awards, 2011, Monday 7th March, at a champagne reception. Look here for the long list of all nominees. 

The RNA press release confirms who Ruth is up against, the list included Jill Mansell's 'Take a Chance on Me' and Lindsey Kelk's 'I Heart Paris'.
