Seven children's literature experts, including the Gruffalo's Julia Donaldson and Chicken House founder Barry Cunningham - who incidentally accepted a manuscript from the unknown J. K. Rowling - will spend a day thrashing out who deserves the accolade. The winner will be announced on the 19th March.
