Andy Stanton, author of You're a Bad Man, Mr Gum!, is one of five top children’s authors who will be judging the 500 Words Short Story Competition... 

...which was launched on BBC Radio 2’s Chris Evans Breakfast Show on Tuesday 31st January to an audience of over 8 million listeners.
 
Last year the competition received 30,000 entries and is predicted to be even more popular this year!
 
The other judges are David Walliams, Lauren Child, Dame Jacqueline Wilson and Charlie Higson.
