Everyone looked up at KC. The King gasped. The Queen trembled. Wuffy miaowed loudly. KC’s hair was long and wild. She wore red and white stripy trousers cut off in jagged lines and in her right hand she held a shining sword. The Queen sat back down hard on her throne, nearly squashing Wuffy. “Katerina!” she cried and opened and closed her mouth like a giant sparkly gold fish. “Hello Mummy!” waved KC. She swung herself off Mr Tweaks and landed lightly on the marble floor. She leapt up onto the arm on the throne and balanced there on one foot, while she kissed her mother. “Hello Daddy!” she twirled around to kiss her father. Just then the King saw something glitter. Looking at Mr Tweaks, the King put his hand over his mouth in horror “What have you done to Richard the Fourteenth!” “His name is Mr Tweaks” “But…but…” muttered the King and he pointed to Mr Tweaks’s ear. There, shining brightly, was a large gold earring. Mr Tweaks whinnied loudly and shook his head to show it off. He loved his earring.
