F. A. Ford

Felicity Ford grew up in a small Devonshire village on the edge of Dartmoor - a child's paradise in summer but a brooding mire of will-o'-the-wisp haunted marshes and blanketing fog in winter. It is in this setting of stark contrasts, steeped in mystical folk-lore, that she developed her fascination with all things creepy.
She studied English at Queen Mary and Westfield College, London, and now lives with a brainless but beautiful yellow Labrador called Barney in a Dartmoor village. Her three children have flown the nest but visit frequently.
She loves words which paint funny pictures like buffoon and slap-head and shivery words like insidious and shrouded.
