It's the hottest summer anyone in Sabreton can remember and Charlie Flint has invented a delicious new drink for the dinosaurs to enjoy - dinopop!
Unfortunately the dinopop has a rather stinky and noisy side effect - dinoburps. Soon Charlie is the most unpopular boy in Sabreton. He embarks on a dangerous journey to the fearsome Snapper Island to find a cure. Faced with sabre-tooth monkeys and terrifying crocodiles, will Charlie ever make it back alive?

The cries were everywhere and they were getting louder. Charlie could hear the leaves above him rustling. He looked up but couldn't see a thing. Whatever was making the noise was hidden by the cover of the jungle. "Run!" shouted Charlie, stretching out a hand to Natalie. It was too late. Something grabbed Natalie by the neck. It had long furry arms ending in thick yellow claws. Natalie screamed. Charlie followed the arm up the creature's body and gasped. Dangling by it's tail from the branches of a tall tree was a monkey. It had bright red eyes and two razor sharp fangs. It dripped hideous yellow slime from it's mouth and it's body was covered in patches of dirty brown fur. It's tail was was made of hard blunt scales and it was twice the size of Charlie and Natalie. "No!" shouted Charlie, tugging Natalie towards him. Natalie screamed again. The creature growled and dug it's dirty yellow claws deep into her neck, it wasn't letting go. Charlie pulled as hard as he could. Natalie was stretched between him and the monkey. Charlie knew that if his grip failed she would be dragged up into the canopy and be eaten alive. All around the trees were alive with movement. A whole pack of the filthy creatures was descending upon them. Charlie felt his sweaty hand begin to slip. He was losing his grip. The monkey was too strong. He stared into Natalie's terrified eyes.Buy Dinoburps online at Amazon
