Adharanand Finn

Adharanand Finn

Adharanand Finn was born in London in 1974. He grew up in suburban Northampton, kicking footballs, riding his bike and playing about outside. As a teenager he played guitar in a band and ran for his local running club, before giving it all up for the glamour of student life at the University of Liverpool. After four fun-packed years, including a year in the mountains of Venezuela, he followed the trail to London and fell into journalism (he was only looking for somewhere to live). His career pitter-pattered between various magazines, back to South America, a side step to Mallorca, and then back to London and ITN, before he began freelancing. He has since worked or written for The Guardian, The Independent, Channel 4 News, ITV News, The Telegraph, The Royal Television Society, BBC Good Food and Runner's World magazine.
