Jamie backed away as Dakhil gripped the cage bars and peered at him with all the glee of a snake about to devour a mouse. ‘We meet again,’ he said, licking his lips. ‘There’s someone else who will be pleased to see you, too!’ Dakhil clapped twice and a young genie hurried to his side. ‘You remember Dabir, don’t you?’ said Dakhil with a cruel smirk. ‘He’s missed you!’ Jamie shuddered.
