Richard Barlow

Richard Barlow was an early member of Poetry Circus, who did performance poetry practically before it was invented. He has since written and performed poetry, songs and stories, and has also written articles, film scripts, a thesis, and pages and pages of reports. He once worked in public libraries but now writes children's novels and thinks that writing beats working for a living.

He has two granddaughters, three daughters and a son, and lives in Leicester with his wife, Maggie.

In his spare time he reads, walks and plays guitar.
