John Richardson

John Richardson was born and raised in Northern Ireland. He is married with one daughter. After spending time at University in Bournemouth he returned to set up and run Ireland's largest sandwich business. A combination of youthful naivety and growing far too fast meant that by the age of 29 he lost it all and had to start again. Since then John has been involved in a variety of highly successful and award winning food and retail businesses. He currently works as a consultant and speaker to the hospitality industry.

After many years away from the sport John decided to set a challenge to himself to play a level par round of golf within a year. This was a fascinating and ultimately life changing experience for John and led him to write From Scratch to Scratch.

He speaks to large business groups about taking risks and about never quitting - even when it all seems to be over.
